Hop Aboard the AK Railroad’s Glacier Discovery Train and join us for an adventure to or from Whittier. There is no better way to get an adventure and a rail transfer on the same day to or from Whittier than by joining us out at Spencer Glacier.
Anchorage to Whittier:
If coming from Anchorage and needing to get to Whittier for a cruise or other adventure. Join us for a Bears, Trains, & Icebergs Tour prior to heading to Whittier arriving at 6 PM.
Whittier to Anchorage or Girdwood:
If arriving in Whittier and needing to get into Anchorage or Girdwood. Hop aboard the Glacier Discovery Train with all your luggage at 12:30 PM and head out to Spencer Glacier for a Spencer Glacier Float Adventure. Transfers into Anchorage or Girdwood will take place after your adventure with an arrival time into downtown Anchorage at 6:45 PM, and Girdwood at 5:45 PM.
